I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my purchase of native plants from the nursery.  The species list I required was set by subdivision covenants and plants had to be at least a 1m in height.  Stu from TNPN assured me this would not be a problem and he even helped work out what plants would be best suited for my site and how many I would require to cover the area. The plants were in a fabulous condition, with thick foliage and a healthy appearance. I was over the moon at the quality. Stu has an incredible knowledge of all things botanical and I wouldn't hesitate to send people his way to help them sort out their own planting projects.

Comb Honey wins bronze

Once again Tūaropaki Trust apiarist Karena Robinson has won a bronze medal for the Trust’s comb honey in the cut comb category of the Apiculture New Zealand National Conference Awards.
In a challenging year due to the high rainfall, Karena has managed the hives to minimise losses from Varroa and still collect a good quantity of honey for distribution to Owners or for sale.
Most of this year’s yield will be bottled as creamed honey but she did select some choice comb to enter into the 2023 awards while this year's crop was being processed.
